The basics of how we work together — clear and up front.

These terms cover window cleaning, power washing, and related services provided by Universal Window Cleaning in the Detroit metropolitan area. By booking a service, you agree to the points below.
Quotes & pricing
- Any price we give before seeing the job is an estimate, not a final price.
- Final pricing depends on the property's size, the number and type of windows, access, condition, and the overall scope of work.
- We confirm the final price with you before the work begins. If the scope changes once we're on site, we'll talk it through and get your okay before doing the extra work.
Scheduling & weather
Because much of our work is outdoors, your appointment may need to shift for weather, safety, or access reasons. If that happens, we'll reach out to reschedule as soon as we can. Some cleaning is best done in daylight, so exact timing can vary by season.
Access & site conditions
To do a great job safely, we need reasonable, safe access to the areas being cleaned. Before your appointment, please:
- Secure pets and let us know about any on-site alarms or security systems
- Clear a path to the windows, gutters, or surfaces we'll be working on
- For power washing, provide access to a working outdoor water source unless we've agreed otherwise in advance
If we can't safely access part of the property, we may not be able to complete that portion, and the quote may be adjusted for the work actually performed.
Our work & your satisfaction
We take care with your property and stand behind our work. If something isn't right, let us know soon after your service and we'll come back and make it right — that's our satisfaction guarantee.
Existing conditions
We treat every home and building with care, but we can't be responsible for pre-existing issues such as failed window seals, already-cracked or chipped glass, worn screens, loose frames, or old paint and mineral staining that may not fully come clean. If we notice a concern like this, we'll point it out.
Payment
Unless we've agreed to other arrangements in writing, payment is due when the work is complete. We'll let you know which payment methods we accept when we confirm your job.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page.
